Signal strength form distant repeaters was doubled and the SWR is below 1.5 across both the 2 Meter and 70  cm bands.  Our local repeater is on 146.960 and the SWR there is 1.13.  I look forward to further testing in the future as I want to compare the 1180 with the Maxrad MDB1444S.
